I bet we have all watched vampire movies and wished we could be vampires. Stay young forever look beautiful or handsome forever. But all this comes at a price, doesnt it?

Have you wondered what that is? its Immortality!

What is immortality? It is having enless life or permanent existence. You cant die of normal diseases or old age. Its pretty facinating actually.

Imagine living forever, seeing 100 years of change throughout the world. Seeing new things being invented, new clothing, new people, new music. Imagine you can see how the world itself moulds and appears new to each generation. You can do all the things you want to do since your living forever.
Study to become a gynacologist then work for sometime, then study law later then music. I mean since you do have all the time in the world, might as well gain as much knowledge, i would so do that.

It would also be really nice to live in different cities every decade or so, and learn a million different languages.

BUT there is a huge downside though, LOVE. I mean you have to watch you loved ones die and age infront of your eyes and each time you get a family you have to watch them die. It would be so painful. Love would be the last thing for you, only lust is left.

Even if your a good person and you are immortal, does it mean you have a soul? Would you ever be going to heaven or would you go straight to hell? Is there even such thing? Or are you forsaken on this earth forever? earthbound for eternity. Is immortality even a gift from god or the devil? or is it just a curse bestowed upon you?

As much as Immortality sounds so fun and interesting, I would never want to be immortal. All of lifes problems would repeat again and again and again. The same cycle over and over again. IS losing your soul worth it? For me never. My soul is very dear to me.Its the essence of life.

i rather die in peace, and see god and then be put where ever i belong. heaven, hell, rebirth?

whatever it is, I'm ready to face it when i need it.

So would you sell your soul for immortality to achieve all that you want? from rags to riches, from nothing to becoming famous?
