Firstly it was my mom's birthday on the 16th of July and we had a small little gathering over at our place! Well at first it was a sudden thing i woke up on the 16th morning and started to bake the cake and make the icing. I was in the process of making pasta and my mom comes out of her room and see's me.
"chand, what are you doing?" said mum. "mom my friends are coming over, so i am making food for them." i said quickly. "how many are coming?"mom said again with a raised eye brow. " 2 or 3 i think." i said while boiling the pasta and stirring the cake mixture i had made. "then why are u making so much of food?" "....."
And so i got busted, and she knew i was making all this for her birthday cuz teh next question she asked was how many people have u invited for my birthday?. haha well, she then decided to help me cuz she said i wouldnt hav been able to finish making everything before the guests came if i did everything alone.
SO she helped me do the basic things while i baked and put the icing on the cake once it was done and even decorated it! YaY
And everything was set, the aunt's came over and had a cook time eating, talking and taking pictures. i tell u i was the official photographer and i snapped so many pics, it was so funny the poses they were trying to make. Then in the evening, mom and aunty suraiyya went for swimming and they looked ube cute i tell u. hehe. I called aunt sue alot to join us but couldnt get through to her as the next day i found out she had gone out with her friends.
I was so happy with what i had cooked and my cake, and mom really enjoyed her birthday!! The best part was that she was really happy and she deservest o be happy and smiled the whole day.
