Well this entry is about my valentines day which dint start out special but maybe ended pretty nice.
In the morning i had no plans, just did the usual...gym and dance. In the evening my family and i had to go for AESHLYN's birthday!
Aeshlyn is like the cutest baby..seriously! ahha i wont say much and let the picture explain it ALL!
Anyhoo... we all got ready! i decided to wear my beige suede dress, rosh decided she wanted 2 wear her red halter and rohit jus wore jeans and a shirt. mommy looked so so so cute..she wore this green punjabi suit.
We left a lil late but surprisingly we reache in 10 mins. TAIPAN for once wasnt jammed. Aeshlyn's birthday was being held at a new
indian restaurant opened in Taipan known as The Indian Heritage. I have to tell you guys that the interior the restaurant is so beautiful.
It has the classic look and it truly has a calming aura.
Once we reached, lil Aeshlyn wa so cutely dressed in this purple beaded dress.. * i practically melted* cuz she looked so so so
cute! The restaurant was even more decorated with balloons everywhere. And the poor clown was gettin bullied by all the kids. i hav
to admit i still dont like clowns! they scare me. Aeshlyn's mom( aunty daljeet) looked like a bollywood actress. Her dress looked so elegant on her and it made her shine!
Then i was looking around and my eyes stumbled on this guy at the restaurant. HIs dad partially owned the restaurant. He looked like such a good boy and i guess i found that attractive. Haha but he probably already has a galfriend, and i shouldnt even bother lookin at him. *sigh* oh wells...he was one of the highlights of the party hehe.
Suddenly at around 9 something i get a call from Ashy! in my mind i was thinking ok what information does he want? so i picked up.
He asked me where i was and said he just called me to wish me HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! haha how weird..and i was likeAShy are u sure you dint call for sumthing.HE was a lil offended..hehe sorry Ashy i dint mean it tat way! Then he said by and that was it!
The party was really good, uncles and aunties were singing all these cute old hindi songs. Quite romantic and also fun 4 the kids as the clown was there haha. In one game the kids needed to go find white hair to win the prize. UNFORTUNATELY for the kids...all the
old uncles and aunties DYED their hair haha..in the end..one of the cute lil boy Aman's dad had to pull out his chest hair(OUCH)!! hahah it was so funny..
We all decided to come back home as the party was just ending at around 12.30. what can i say? its such a punjabi thing to hav late night parties. Then since we were all dressed up i told my mom tat rosh and i wanted 2 go to the pool to take pics! haha. my mum was lyk ur insane and all i could say was "tell me something i dont know mom!"
Then just as we got to the pool, we saw a hideous sight..more like heard weird sounds. A couple was making out in the dark!
i know its Valentines day and all but please control your hormones or GET A ROOM!! The guy had a beer bottle in his hands..
Now i understood why his hormones were out of control!
Valentines day + Alcohol + girl = something i dont wanna imagine
At around 12.40 i get a call... guess from who? ASHY!! haha tats weird. i thought i knew he wanted sumthing( sorry ashy don get angry) This is how the conversation went.
ASHY: Hey chand! i was thinking that whenever we plan to go out and have a drink it never works out. SO why not we go out now.
Chand thinks to herself: is he drunk or insane..its lyk 12.40!
Chand says: Erm Ashy...ur kidding right? u cant be serious?
ASHY: nope i am. I'm ready and am goign to leave the house.since u just came back and are ready too so u dont need 2 get dressed.
Chand: you do realize that i have to ask my mom right? I doubt she'll allow. UNLESS you talk to my mum? hows that sound?
ASHY: WHAT! *get kinda nervous and shy* erm chand i'm scared la.U sure she wont be angry?
Chand: Nope i'll explain to you what to say!
Then i explained to AShy how to talk to my mum and what to say. As u already expect ITS ASHY! he was so shy and such a chicken...but..YOU"LL see what happened.
now the conversation between my mom, ashy and I.
Chand: mom ashneet is on the phone he wants to go out for a drink with me? is it ok if he picks me up?
Momy: what? at this time? why? NOpe..too late..
Chand: he's on the phone right now here mom!
Momy: NO its..( i jus put the phone to her ear).
ASHY: sat sri akal auntyji. How r you.?
Momy: hello ashneet. happy valentines day!
ASHY: thank you auntyji. auntyji is it ok if i take chand for a drink.dont worry i'll bring her back safely. she's my responsibility.
Momy: alrite... not a problem(hahaha she gave up in the end YAY)
ASHY: ok aunty thanx.good night.
Well that was it. Then Ashy picked me up and we drove around like fools trying to find a place to sit and hav a drink.
ASIA CAFE was our first thought but it was too crowded and they way i was dressed i dint wanna attract unwanted attention from ppl...especially the drunk kind..so we decided NOT asia.
Then we thought friendster cafe near pyramid...and off we went. On the way we saw old town kopitiam and decided why not go there.
So we drove to the place, found a parking pretty quick and ordered. I had 2 white hazelnut coffees and AShy ordered lime juice with this ice-cream sandwich. WE talked so much. For the first time in my life i realized that Ashy can actually talk so much..more than even me! haha but it was so funny..the things we were talking about .And somethings just never change. Ashy stil dint look at me when he talked. I know AShy i aint pretty but am i that hideous that you cant even look me in the eye and talk to me??
Then as we turned around we saw that every1 was starting to leave..actually had already left and the waiters had started putting the chairs on the table. HAHA ..as Ashy said " this was a sign that we should leave chand before they kick us out" haha.
So we left. As we were driving out of that area, i realized there were many "women "standing around the cars in the parking area. I asked Ashy why are all these women standing there. He looked at me and gave me that What are u kidding smile. He then told me that they were not women but transexuals. haha omg..they were so sexily dressed and lyk just stood there. He said they were prostitutes. i was quite surprised as i had never seen such a thing..then again i hardly went out at night!
SO around 1.30 we reached back to boulevard. And we decided that since we were having such a good conversation..lets continue it at the pool at boulevard. But before we went to the pool i had to change cuz i was practically sweating in my dress. SO i went home and changed. Momy was obviously still awake...and so i introduced her to Ashy. Omg i swear i dint know Ashy was so freakin shy. He said hello and straight went and waited at the lift. AHAHAHA..so funny. Then finally we went down to the pool. Thankfully the making out couple that my siblings and i saw ealier had gone.
So then Ashy and i just started talking. I was amazed at how different Ashy was. He was more nicer and actually shared his emotions and some experiences. We were actually opening up to each other. haha tat has never happened before. Usually ashy was egoistic, annoying and a small extent childish. BUT i guess his exterior is different from his interior. Inside he was different and dint exactly show it infront of stranger or people he sees everyday. He was actually a very sweet and mellow guy, even caring...wonder why he opened up to me of all people. But it was good to catch up on things...since we hadnt spoken for like over a month. I truly enjoyed today.
At around 3.30 momy calls and says come home now..its tooooo late. it was true. So i told AShy i think i better go home now.haha he was lyk yea sure. he finds my momy cute...then again who doesnt? SHE IS CUTE!
SO once i went home momy obviously scolded me...she was jus being a mom and was worried. i took the scolding....
Then i smsed Ashy telling him tat i wanted to tell him what my mum said. so he called..
We talked summore about what my mum said and whatever elz...and then i realized it wa 5.00 AM! oh gosh i needed to sleep..as i was dead tired. SO i said bye to AShy!
Ashy said i made his Valentines day...haha and yes Ashy you made my valentines day too. Its cool how being with good friends can change a dull day to one of the sweetest and nicest days.
Thanx Ashy...BUT u still owe me a movie!!
Well thats it...tats how my valentines day went. I did miss the last 2 valentines day i had with my old friends. especially the valentines day in SAABS CAR... i bet you all remember that day.it was one of the nicest...with saab, 2 of my best gal friends and i getting a ride to klang with saab.
oh well...guess things change with time. But this valentines day was also one of the most memorable!
Whos says single people cant have any fun on this day...I DID!!
